If you pay regular attention to our culture picks, you’ll notice that we frequently direct you to the Brattle Theatre (40 Brattle Street, Cambridge).  Why?  Well, it’s partly to help support a fabulous Cambridge institution, but it’s also because this particular venue happens to book some of the most creative acts around.  This weekend it’s featuring Coxen and Johnson Industries, an up-and-coming local comedy team.  The dynamic duo of Chris Coxen and Nate Johnson performs its stand-up and sketch comedy (think Saturday Night Live in the good days) as part of the Preserve the Brattle Legacy Campaign.  Advance tickets are available through www.brattlefilm.org.  And since the cost of entry is only $12 for general admission ($6 for students), you might even consider donating a bit more to help keep the Brattle open.
